The vision and passion of AUIH’s founding president have guided more than 10,000 medical students toward expertise in integrative medicine and helped build one of the nation’s largest online universities.
Dr. Fraser is a leading figure in integrative healthcare with deep experience in naturopathic medicine, human nutrition, and functional medicine. Her career highlights significant contributions as a practitioner, educator, and advocate.
Born and raised in the United States, Dr. Fraser developed an early interest in health and wellness. She completed an undergraduate degree in biology at a reputable U.S. institution and later earned her doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from the University of Naturopathic Medicine and Health Sciences in Connecticut.
After training, she practiced as a naturopathic physician, providing holistic, patient-centered care across a wide range of conditions—focusing on treating the whole person, not just symptoms.
More recently, Dr. Fraser was appointed as a Partner at the American University of Integrative Health, overseeing academic program development and research initiatives that advance integrative health disciplines.
Through sustained leadership and advocacy, Dr. Fraser has helped bridge traditional and complementary approaches to care, expanding access to evidence-informed integrative medicine. Her ongoing work continues to inspire future generations of healthcare professionals.
